Privacy Policy

Your clipboard never touches our servers. Klipsy syncs clipboard data directly between your own paired devices over your local network, end-to-end encrypted. We do not receive, store, or have access to the content you copy and sync.
What Klipsy does and does not collect
Clipboard content: stays on your devices. It is transferred peer-to-peer between your two paired devices over the local network using AES-256-GCM encryption. It is never relayed through, or stored on, any Klipsy server or cloud.
License & device data: to validate your license, the App sends a randomly generated device identifier and your license/sync code to our licensing service (a Cloudflare Worker) and to RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider. This is used solely to confirm your plan is active. No clipboard data is included.
Purchase data: when you buy a plan, the purchase is handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the information needed to process your payment (such as your email and billing details) under Paddle’s Privacy Policy. We receive only limited transaction data (for example, that a purchase occurred and the associated subscriber identifier) to activate your license.
Account data: downloading and buying Klipsy require a Klipsy account. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, Inc. (your email address, sign-in method and session tokens) under Clerk’s Privacy Policy. We store your account identifier, your email address and the license bound to your account in our own database, hosted on Cloudflare. Clipboard content is never part of this.
Website analytics
The website klipsy.app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless. It does not use client-side state to track you across sites and does not collect personal data. Hosting, DNS and access control for klipsy.app are provided by Cloudflare, Inc.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not use advertising trackers.
- We do not read, log, or store your clipboard content.
Data retention
License records (device identifier and sync code) are retained only as long as needed to operate your license. Account records (account identifier, email address and license link) are retained until you delete your account. Payment records are retained by Paddle as required for their role as Merchant of Record.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact support@klipsy.app. For payment-related data, you can also contact Paddle directly.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the effective date above will reflect any changes.
