Your clipboard never touches our servers. Klipsy syncs clipboard data directly between your own paired devices over your local network, end-to-end encrypted. We do not receive, store, or have access to the content you copy and sync.
Clipboard content: stays on your devices. It is transferred peer-to-peer between your two paired devices over the local network using AES-256-GCM encryption. It is never relayed through, or stored on, any Klipsy server or cloud.
License & device data: to validate your license, the App sends a randomly generated device identifier and your license/sync code to our licensing service (a Cloudflare Worker) and to RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider. This is used solely to confirm your plan is active. No clipboard data is included.
Purchase data: when you buy a plan, the purchase is handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the information needed to process your payment (such as your email and billing details) under Paddle’s Privacy Policy. We receive only limited transaction data (for example, that a purchase occurred and the associated subscriber identifier) to activate your license.
The website klipsy.app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless. It does not use client-side state to track you across sites and does not collect personal data.
License records (device identifier and sync code) are retained only as long as needed to operate your license. Payment records are retained by Paddle as required for their role as Merchant of Record.
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact support@klipsy.app. For payment-related data, you can also contact Paddle directly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the effective date above will reflect any changes.
